After 10 years, the Golden Horseshoe Marathon has become a local tradition. Our event staff have invited all the local media, as well as politicians and well-know personalities to make an appearance. 

 

This year’s marathon has been planned run on one of the busiest days of Burlington’s Rotary Ribfest, with the marathon finish line located next to all the Ribfest activities.

Burlington’s Rotary Ribfest has become one of the leading community events in the Greater GTA and Hamilton area. Started by the Burlington Lakeshore Rotary Club in 1995, the event has become a memorable way of ending the lazy days of summer for many families, with great music, a multitude of family activities, lots of open space for socializing, and, of course, great ribs!
